NATIONAL TREE PLANTING DAY 2019
Planting trees saves the environment. Today marks the annual National Tree Planting Day which is commemorated every first Saturday of December. Today the nation is encouraged to plant a tree and spread the importance of tree planting and conservation of trees which enhances our bio-diversity and helps to mitigate the impacts of climate change and global warming. Delta Corporation is friends of the environment through the Make A Difference campaign which encourages recycling to ensure a cleaner and safe environment for all. You too can make a difference today by planting a tree to save the planet!
Tips to contribute to the tree planting this year!
- Make sure you plant at least 3 trees for every tree you cut down
- Learn how to plant trees as seeds
- Take care of trees that need a nursery
- Educate people about the importance of trees and the environment
- Plant a tree or more yourself
