Highlights for the quarter
ENVIRONMENTAL COUNCIL CORPORATE AFFAIRS REPORT
- F19 MAD campaign ran on all digital/social media platforms.
- Collection of waste from the Delta cages continued. Weekly updates on collection rate being circulated. Support from commercial appreciated.
- Citizen responsibility on waste collection matter continues to be peripheral and a lot of work still has to be done to lobby citizens to manage waste responsibly.
- Employee involvement commendable in the national clean up campaigns.
- The Delta-Boost waste management innovation program successfully launched.

Delta-BOOST Ethics Showcase #Imad Campaign.
- The 2019 programme was launched at Mandel Training Centre on the 21st March with 11 universities taking part in the launch event. The focus this year again is on wa– ste management.
- All teams are enhancing their projects from last year.
- Investment money for this this year is $20,000. The disbursement of the investments earned by the teams will be administered based on comprehensive proposals indicating how teams would allocate the money to further developing their projects.
