Golden Pilsener

Our Brand History

Golden Pilsener was launched in 1980 as Castle. It targeted at affluent males of 35 years and above. Who are aware of their social stature and are after a light, unique, great tasting lager. In the 90s the brand was reintroduced as Golden Pilsener.

To this day, Golden Pilsener still appeals to the affluent males and females and to buttress its premium status. It was upgraded to a full premium status by changing its packaging from a brown bottle to a green bottle in 2010 . This saw a label upgrade as well.
